At the end of July I was able to join Boyd in Indianapolis.
Our first Indianapolis adventure took us to
the MOA (Museum of Art)
Boyd spent about 20 minutes observing this lovely Van Gogh.
I love the texture and detail. Boyd loves everything about it.
Palette knife painting is definitely on my bucket list.
Hello GIANT Numbers!
Next Stop:
The Indianapolis Zoo
As far as zoo experiences, the Indianapolis zoo was one of the best we have been to.
Throughout the zoo, different companies sponsor the exhibits, making them all up to date and well done. Our zoo experience included a dolphin show. How awesome.
The elephant exhibit was by far my favorite.
They were so close and it was fun to see them playing in the water.
Our final stop:
The Future Indianapolis LDS Temple.
It is currently being built so we took a Sunday to visit the construction site.
We laughed when we saw this funny random wall with a window. We were not really sure why there was a window on this wall, or why there was even such a small wall to begin with.
Out with a bang:
We never got to celebrate the 4th of July together.
Fireworks in Indianapolis are not illegal. Boyd couldn't resist buying some.
So we celebrated the 24th of July (a Utah holiday) in Indianapolis.
