Halloween 2015

This years theme is Where's Waldo?

I thought it was going to be so easy to find red and white stripped shirts. Boy was I wrong. We went on a month long hunt and couldn't find shirts for a reasonable price in stores or online. I was about to give up and we were just going to purchase plain white T's and paint them red when Boyd stumbled upon red and cream striped shirts (from American eagle of all places)
We decided to call ourselves Fall Waldos.

5 knitted hats later, a bunch of shirts purchased (we bought extra to get the free shipping) and we just needed the glasses. My plan was to go to the dollar store to buy sunglasses and punch the lenses out. Instead of sunglasses they had reading glasses but they worked! (We got so dizzy trying them on from all the different prescriptions)

This one wanted to help make sure we got the right "look"

The best part about these costumes is that my grandma (Gning Gning) dressed up with us. Mom and dad hong came all the way to Chicago for  a  quick visit to help us paint our new place. They asked Gning Gning if she wanted to come and she said yes. I love seeing this almost 90 year old lady all dressed up as a hipster Waldo! A huge thank you to my parents for being such good sports and dressing up with us. It made it that much better.

My second favorite part. Our little Lily Roo. This poor puppy gets all sorts of dressed upped I like to pretend that she likes it since she doesn't fight me about it. But let's face it, look at that face. She is such a good doggy. We love having our  Lily Roo.

Below: Picture Overload
(You have been Warned)

This one is my favorite: look at that tongue.

This funny puppy kept asking for her picture to be taken. She will pose and wait and then get excited. pose, wait, and then do it all over again. She is such a sweetie.

Back to Halloween.
Mom and Dad Hong came to visit.
They were awesome and came to our ward Halloween party.

The official pose.

Trunk or treat.

To top it off we had mummy dogs. (like a week later)

We love Halloween!
