Bills Family Picture

Am I back from my blogging hiatus? Possibly.
Thank goodness for Christmas break.
I feel like I'm actually getting things done. . .
for example this picture. . .
that was taken back in July . . .

I have been avoiding it, ignoring it, running away from it, and avoiding it some more. There were so many things that needed to be photoshopped I just didn't get around to doing it until today. I only replaced 13 heads and it only took 3 hours.
Not bad considering there were 20 kids, a dog, 15 adults, and I wasn't even the one taking it. Just my camera and a friendly neighbor.
I'm actually pretty proud of myself. Everyone is looking, even the dog.
*sigh* Now I'm all done and I don't have to feel guilty anymore.

Family: I will be sending a CD out sometime soon with all the rest of the pictures so LOOK OUT!

Happy Halloween

It's been a while. To say the least.
I have received many requests demanding a post about our Halloween costumes.
First of all, are you impressed? I crocheted these without a pattern.
Want to be even more impressed? Boyd crocheted his hat all by himself!
I asked him how he picked it up so fast. All he said was "I watched you then did it"
Little stinker. How is he so good at everything?

We were Sock Monkeys

Do you like our self portraits?
The lighting was perfect today, so we grabbed the camera, tripod, and remote and ran outside to take our pictures. I wonder what the neighbors thought.

So, my sister and I do this face. . .
It's the monkey face. Maybe one day I'll show you the real thing.
You might think less of me if I ever show you.

Bills Family Reunion: Fishing

When Boyd is in charge, we go fishing!

So we whipped out the ol' Bills family canoe and took it for a spin!

 it rained. A LOT

Boyd caught a large mouth bass!
Right after this pic was taken it started POURING rain.
We were soaking wet. It was almost as if we had jumped into the pond.
Then we realized:
We were in the middle of a pond
in a metal canoe
in the middle of a thunder and lightning storm
we're so smart (not!)

Abby and I were . . .

Bills Family Reunion: Kayaking

We ditched the kiddies and went kayaking while we were at Kelly's Island. It was a blast!
I thought "kayaking on a lake, la de dah" Oh no! We hit some 3-4 feet waves and it was crazy FUN!
I would highly recommend this to anyone who ever goes to Kelly's Island.

This is me saying "take that!"

I love leaving my camera and then finding pictures I didn't take. It is always a pleasant surprise.

I love how Tom is totally standing in the water taking a pic.

A big thank you to Joseph who let me use his swim trunks.

First of all: I fit into a REALLY Skinny 16 year old boy's swim trunks
Second of all: They actually fit (tight squeeze, but fit)
Third of all: I only had a minor atomic wedgie
Finally: Joseph totally got soaking wet in his normal clothes because I had stolen his trunks.
p.s. They had skulls on them. haha I felt so weird.

As a result of wet pants, Joseph thought that if he sat in the sand it would help them dry. (see below)
Thanks Joseph!

I love this hat and I'm totally jealous of it. It look so fantastic on everyone that wears it.

WOW, these two must be brothers!
