HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOYD!!!

Blessed

I'm finally breaking my 1 year hiatus.

It's been quite the year to say the least. I've spent hours, days, months, literally a year thinking about what just happen to us. As much as I want to complain about the craptastic year we just went through there is only one word that can only describe my feelings about our year "off", BLESSED.

We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family. We are so blessed to have the gospel and for the knowledge it provides us. Without these two things we literally would not have survived.

Thank you to the people who were there for us. For the friends who let us stay at their house, eat their food and hang out with their teenage daughter for two weeks. For friends who "hired" Boyd to paint their house and over paid him times a hundred. Little do they know they helped us make it through another month where we just didn't know if we were going to. We are blessed to have family. For a mom who had a cow when she saw how skinny Boyd was and sent a Costco gift card over right away so we could eat. I was blessed to have a job that whole time where I could eat breakfast and lunch with the kiddos and not have to worry about our grocery bill for those two meals. We are so blessed to have friends and family who cried with us through our struggles and listened to our stupid stories like that one time Boyd told me we couldn't afford butter. The list goes on and on.

We are blessed to have the Gospel. "Come what may and love it" I was especially blessed to have special angels sent to me to help lift me up when I needed it the most. When I thought that my Heavenly Father had abandoned me, I felt his love through these women. We sure did have a good time together. We are grateful for a church that teaches us to have "food storage" without it we would not have survived.

We are so blessed.
