Summer - Winter 2012

I'm going to stop being a slacker.
I was going through our point and shoot and found all of these pictures.

This is what we have been doing since the summer

Went to the Smucker's Factory in Orville, Ohio

Where you can buy the CUTEST jar of jam ever made.

Boyd and I went to the USA Soccer game in Columbus, Ohio.

 Ceadar Point water park

Trip to Toft's dairy after a day at the water park. Some of the best ice cream ever know to man!

Boyd and I participated in the American Heart Association Heart Walk for my work.
Hopefully the first of many walks/runs to come.
We finished. yay.

Went to one of my favorite places to eat. Bspot.
Why does our life revolve around food?

Boyd took me riding
 A sunset ride! Oh la la. . . .
Which quickly turned into a ride in the dark. . .

 Boyd turned 29!
29!
Yikes, next year he will be 30. Woah!
We went out for sushi for his birthday.
I asked the waitress if they did anything for birthdays.
She looked at me like she had NO CLUE what I was talking about.
I shrugged it off. But then she came over about 10 minutes later sheepishly holding this yummy ice cream dessert. haha. It was cute. Then she looked at me and in broken English said "sing happy birthday?"

Then in the fall we went to Maple side farms. It was a fun fall activity.

Em, Alice, and I rode the Giant slide together.

Thanks for the fun Carrie and Kelly, Mom and Dad, Beth and Scott.

The Moolar express. A barrel ride that whips you around a throws dirt in your face!
Boyd didn't fit. It was funny.
I actually lost my camera under the seat of this thing. That wasn't funny.

The highlight of our fall was going to the BYU v. Notre Dame game.
Go Cougars!

We ran into the Hunters at the game.

Our BYU Crew.
Thanks Sharyn and Dave for sharing your sweet tickets!

Skipping to winter. . .

In December I went down to Flordia for Zoe's baptism.

Eli makes a fantastic wise man!

More to come from Christmas and our D.C Trip!

Bills Family Picture

Am I back from my blogging hiatus? Possibly.
Thank goodness for Christmas break.
I feel like I'm actually getting things done. . .
for example this picture. . .
that was taken back in July . . .

I have been avoiding it, ignoring it, running away from it, and avoiding it some more. There were so many things that needed to be photoshopped I just didn't get around to doing it until today. I only replaced 13 heads and it only took 3 hours.
Not bad considering there were 20 kids, a dog, 15 adults, and I wasn't even the one taking it. Just my camera and a friendly neighbor.
I'm actually pretty proud of myself. Everyone is looking, even the dog.
*sigh* Now I'm all done and I don't have to feel guilty anymore.

Family: I will be sending a CD out sometime soon with all the rest of the pictures so LOOK OUT!

Happy Halloween

It's been a while. To say the least.
I have received many requests demanding a post about our Halloween costumes.
First of all, are you impressed? I crocheted these without a pattern.
Want to be even more impressed? Boyd crocheted his hat all by himself!
I asked him how he picked it up so fast. All he said was "I watched you then did it"
Little stinker. How is he so good at everything?

We were Sock Monkeys

Do you like our self portraits?
The lighting was perfect today, so we grabbed the camera, tripod, and remote and ran outside to take our pictures. I wonder what the neighbors thought.

So, my sister and I do this face. . .
It's the monkey face. Maybe one day I'll show you the real thing.
You might think less of me if I ever show you.

Bills Family Reunion: Fishing

When Boyd is in charge, we go fishing!

So we whipped out the ol' Bills family canoe and took it for a spin!

 it rained. A LOT

Boyd caught a large mouth bass!
Right after this pic was taken it started POURING rain.
We were soaking wet. It was almost as if we had jumped into the pond.
Then we realized:
We were in the middle of a pond
in a metal canoe
in the middle of a thunder and lightning storm
we're so smart (not!)

Abby and I were . . .
